Blessings Forest Family, Pastor Nate here. I pray that you are well and staying safe. For that very reason I would like to take a moment to inform you of some updates to our COVID-19 protocols at Forest.
As you may know, the state of Kentucky and Jefferson County are experiencing rapid increases in COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations. So this past Monday, our COVID-19 response team met and have decided to put in place the following precautions in order for us to continue to provide a safe worship experience.
- Precheck will continue to be available at our website, www.fbcnewburg.org but can also be done once you arrive. This is for contact tracing purposes.
- Temperatures will continue to be checked.
- Upon entry, individuals over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask at any time they are in the building, and for as long as they are in the building regardless of vaccination status. Before and after service we ask that we go back to fist bumps and avoid hugs for the moment. The flow of traffic will be the same for entry and exit.
Again, our desire is to continue to provide a safe worship service and to love our neighbors as best as we can as this pandemic lingers. So let us continue to work together as we have the responsibility of protecting the many little neighbors who are unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, here at Forest.
We will continue to monitor and reassess the situation towards the end of September. Thank you for your patience, thank you for your prayers, and thank you for your support in the midst of these challenging times. If there is anything we can do to be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to let us know by calling the church at 502-454-0189 or by visiting our website at www.fbcnewburg.org and filling out our visitors information form.
